Fields of Freedom Alliance Applauds President Trump, Secretary Rollins for Advancing Regenerative Agriculture and Rural Prosperity
The President’s Executive Order combined with the Secretary’s Final Rule on Regenerative Ag puts Farmers First and creates new market opportunities
(JUNE 26, 2026) – American Farmers received welcome news following President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins Final Rule on Regenerative Agriculture Practices. This one-two punch creates new market opportunities, and will provide a financial boost to every farm operation that implements regenerative ag practices.
Just days away from America’s 250th Anniversary, these actions recognize that for generations, family farmers have balanced productivity with conservation, ensuring that the land remains productive for the next 250 years and beyond. Advancing regenerative agriculture strengthens farm resilience and energy independence. The Administration’s efforts will spur new investment into soil health and productivity, and create significant opportunity for America’s biofuel feedstock producers.
“President Trump understands that innovation and environmental stewardship thrive when government supports farmers instead of burdening them with unnecessary regulations,” said Eric Branstad of Fields of Freedom Alliance. “The Executive Order and Final Rule reward the ingenuity of the men and women who feed and fuel America while creating new economic opportunities that will strengthen rural communities across the country.”
Fields of Freedom Alliance particularly welcomed the Administration’s efforts to reward the conservation practices America’s farmers have long utilized while unlocking new opportunities for biofuels and bioprocessing. These efforts recognize the critical role America’s farmers play in producing both food and affordable, American-made energy.
“Biofuels and bioprocessing have become economic lifelines for countless rural communities,” Branstad said. “Every new market for American-grown commodities means more investment, more jobs, and more opportunity in small towns that have been overlooked for far too long.”
