E15 is the cornerstone of an America First energy policy. When Americans choose to fill up with E15, they’re choosing a homegrown fuel that brings our nation one step closer to energy dominance. Shifting to E15 nationwide could replace demand for nearly 7 billion gallons of foreign oil and shield Americans from disruptions in the global energy supply.

Year-round nationwide E15 will unlock dependable domestic demand for corn and ethanol. Switching from E10 to E15 would increase corn demand for our farmers by approximately 2.5 billion bushels per year, injecting billions of dollars into the ag economy and supporting 555,000 jobs across America’s heartland.

Rules passed by Congress more than a decade ago block access to E15 year-round in most parts of the U.S. These outdated federal regulations unnecessarily and unfairly burden small business retailers and deny Americans from saving money each time they fill up.

E15 is EPA-approved for 96% of the cars, trucks, and SUVs on the road today. It’s time for Congress to fix the problem they created and get America on the road to E15.
